Mayors and councillors from across Prince Edward Island will gather this Saturday for FPEIM’s Semi-Annual Meeting — a dynamic day of connecting, sharing ideas, and shaping the future.

Hosted by the Rural Municipality of Eastern Kings, the event will bring together close to 70 municipal leaders, provincial staff, and FPEIM program partners.
This year’s meeting will dedicate even more time to conversation and feedback, ensuring that FPEIM’s advocacy and support continue to reflect the needs of cities, towns, and rural municipalities across PEI. The agenda is packed with opportunities to connect, contribute, and learn.
Facilitator Gordon McIntosh will bring his extensive municipal experience and engaging presentation style to guide participants through The Future is Local — strategic brainstorming and action sessions focused on the issues that matter most to PEI municipalities.
Other highlights include the following:
- the launch of the FPEIM Canoe Insurance Program
- a special Person’s Day presentation
- presentation of the Municipal Achievement Award
- updates on FPEIM’s work for municipalities across PEI
- an optional tour of the Eastern Kings Wind Farm
