President Scott Pearce has been a member of FCM’s board of directors since 2009. He is the mayor of the Township of Gore, warden of the RCM Argenteuil, and president of the Conseil des préfets et des élus des Laurentides. His previous FCM roles include vice-president of the rural forum and vice-president of the Quebec caucus. He received the 2021 Jean-Marie-Moreau award from the Fédération québécoise des municipalités for his commitment, leadership, and engagement to his community.
