The Federation of PEI Municipalities held its Semi-Annual Meeting in Montague on Saturday Novmber 4, 2017. The meeting, held at the Montague Curling Club, was intended to help celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Town of Montague’s incorporation.
The meeting was attended by approximately 115 delegates from across the province. Along with the regular FPEIM business, those attending heard presentations on the Coastal Communities Adaptation Toolkit, Procurement Opportunities for Municipalities, Cannabis Legalization Implications, the Smart Cities Challenge, the Status of the Municipal Government Act Implementation, and the PEI Population Action Plan.
